MVP Summit 2008, Seattle Day +1
April 20, 2008 at 6:35 pm | In MVP |Seeing as I spent almost 48 hours on planes and in airports getting over here, I decided to make the most of the trip and spent a few days after the summit to do some sight-seeing (among other things
).
Here’s Summit +1 (Friday), and what I got up to. I spent some time at MS in the morning and then got a handy MS shuttle to the Overlake Transit Center, which is where all the public buses leave from. There’s some serious construction happening on the other side of the 520-freeway - new Microsoft buildings.
Now I had planned to head out to the Boeing factory at Everett - but being car-less made it all too difficult, so I headed to the Museum of Flight instead. I wandered across to the Airpark and had a walk through of the Concord & former Air Force One (the first presidential jet plane).
And then on the way home to Chuck’s place, it started snowing!
The night was ended with Rock Band session on the XBox 360 which I seemed to pick up fairly quickly.
