<description>hey dude, congrats and welcome to the land of moblogging!!

On your idea of GPS, i had an idea ages ago.

1) Grab a gps datalogger - http://search.ebay.com/gps-data-logger_W0QQ_trksidZm37QQcatrefZC6QQdfspZ32QQfromZR40QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQsabfmtsZ1QQsacatZQ2d1QQsaobfmtsZinsifQQssPageNameZRC0021?_trksid=p1638.m120

2) go around and take pics with a "real" camera with the data logger strapped to my backpack

3) come home, dump the datalogger and photos

4) pair the GPS data up with the photos so each pic is geotagged

5) write a VirtualEarth mashup which shows my trip

6) write a WPF or Silverlight app (on top of the VE mashup) which allows me to visualise additional stats about my trip etc

anyhoo, congrats again and it's great to see another moblogger. How else would you know that i had an awesome day quadbiking today :-) - http://moblog.delicategeniusblog.com/?p=1301
