Make an initial assessment
Communicate the incident
Contain the damage and minimize the risk
Identify the type and severity of the compromise
Protect evidence
Notify external agencies if appropriate
Recover systems
Compile and organize incident documentation
Assess incident damage and cost
Review the response and update policies

Congratulations Brian!

Brian Harry is now a Technical Fellow at Microsoft. This represents the highest stage of technical achievement at Microsoft.
Brian has been a (the?) leading force in the Visual Studio Team Foundation Server product and this is well deserved.

Migraines are back

Almost 2 years ago, back in November 2005 I started getting migraine headaches. I couldn’t narrow them down to any particular trigger (chocolate, red wine, smelly cheese) but they went away after a few weeks.
Well they’re back again, here’s what I know about them.
