Successful build Check-in Policy

April 23, 2007 at 12:27 pm | In Team Foundation Server |

I just found this in Beta1 of VSTS Codename ‘Orcas’ and I’m always happy when things get included in-the-box. Buck talks a bit more about it and how it’s implemented on his blog. Will we see the other Check-in policies like ‘Check for Comments’ as well?

Add Check-in Policy dialog

This policy requires that the last build was successful for each affected continuous integration build definition.

This will ensure that whoever broke the build fixes it quickly, as they are potentially holding everybody else up from checking in their code.
